Our team members advised Allianz SE on its acquisition of 93.94% of shares of listed Yapı Kredi Sigorta (insurance) and its wholly owned subsidiary Yapı Kredi Emeklilik (pension), through a competitive bid for USD883m and the execution of bancassurance agreements with Yapı Kredi Bank for the distribution of life and non-life products. This transaction is the largest transaction in the Turkish insurance sector to date.
